breaking the rules

For the breaking the rules task, a lot of my pictures didn't turn out so that when I scanned them in or developed them in the dark room, they were too under exposed to show up, so I only have a few to work with. Although I do have some digital photos that I can use.

I was using a Praktica flash camera (see below) to take this and I pointed the camera really up close to the subject to make it out of focus.
To create this effect, I used a lamp and pointed it down to the subject and positioned it to hit the light bulb in the picture. I unfocused the camera so that it would create those shapes from the light.

This is a digital photo that I took for this task. I focused the camera on the background rather than the foreground to make it look a little more out of proportion.

Another digital photo.

For this one, I slowed the shutter speed down to 1 second without using a tripod so it would give the photo a blurry/shaky effect.

The Praktica camera I used.
